Edisto Island on a Summer Day!

NEEDED! One day of R&R!
and I found it! EDISTO ISLAND .. I LOVE THIS PLACE. You feel as if you have stepped back in time 50 years to a gentler way. Where people will say "HEY" when you walk past them on the beach! THIS IS MY KINDA PARADISE I TELL YA!!

We started at the SEACOW Restuarant with a Breakfast of Pecan Pancakes for me and Eggs and Sausage fior Vic. Next, down a Sandy Trail and SEASHELLS at this beach! What more could you need!!

After 4-5 hours in the sun it was time to head to Live Oak Campground at the Edisto Island State Park to check out our campsite for August 5th. The Beach Campground looked miserably hot.. the Live Oak looked PURR-FECT!

Finally time to head back to reality (aka 80 Heartstone Circle). We stopped at the cutest market (Kings Market) with gorgeous produce, sweet kitties and other yummy Stuff! We came home with 6 for $2.40 Yellow Sweet Corn adn 2 Tomatoes!

They offered Garden junk in the back room ....

BEST of ALL.. Fields and Fields of Flowers out back..

They had random signs.. which are always fun!

This sign was amongst a pile of trash

This sign is so funny to me.. but actually found the day before on building in Okatie!
And, back to the country market, they had this Beautiful Flag with a beautiful background :)

So after that.. a stop at Carolina Cherry Company on the side of road. WAYYYY OVER PRICED but we did buy a $1.25 Praline that tasted like it was 4-5 years old (YUCK!).

OK... Back to Reality!

HAPPY SHOPPING!
